The
team member will be involved with requirements gathering, fit/gap
analysis, configuration, design, software customizations/modifications
and testing. To be successful in this position, the selected individuals
will generate quality deliverables, obtain client satisfaction, and
determine innovative ideas for software solutions.

Responsibilities:
·
Full
cycle in Educational/Learning Solutions Implementation experience.
·
Proven
Working Knowledge of the Universities, Colleges and/or Schools’
environments, with emphasis on Registration, Admission, and Students
accounting is required.
·
Assist
in defining and reviewing the technical requirements for the application,
including security, integration, performance, and quality requirements.
·
Create
the detail/technical designs for the individual components, based on the
requirements provided in the functional designs. These designs are passed
to the programming resource(s) as input for creating program
specifications.
·
Confirm
the completeness of the detail/technical designs. Resolve any
inconsistencies discovered.
·
Inform
the functional/general designer of any issues that may affect other areas
of the project.
·
Participate
in quality reviews to ensure the designs meet the functional
requirements.
·
Participate
in transition of the functional / general design from the functional
designer.
·
Facilitate
transition of the detail / technical design to the development team
·
Participate
in testing the component, after programming completion, if requested by
project management. Validate that the component appears to meet stated
functional design requirements.
Technical Requirements:
·
Must
have at least 5+ years experience with Oracle databases (9i/10G). 5+
years experience with Oracle Forms and Reports (version 6i to 9i or 10g).
·
Clearly
understands Oracle 9i architecture and database platform. Able to conduct
SQL performance tuning.
·
Strong
SQL and PL/SQL skills.
·
Ability
to integrate complex business logic.
·
Ability
to program an extensive and complex Oracle forms application that
operates across large tables.
·
Application
tuning and troubleshooting skills.
·
Demonstrated
ability to code Oracle Forms according to a given design specification.
·
Ability
to participate in full life-cycle development, including QA, requirements
gathering and implementation.
·
Strong
working knowledge of a financial application environment.
·
Minimum
of 5+ year's strong PL/SQL development experience (creation of packages,
procedures, functions, and database objects).
·
Familiarity
with common UNIX utilities.
·
Strong
requirements definition, analysis, design and development.
·
Experience
with change control and versioning.
·
Experience
in relational database design and development.
