 Taif University establishes a contract for the supply and application of university information management system

Dr Abdul Elah Al-Taif Banaja, Director of Taif University, established a contract for the supply, installation and application of a unversity information system with Adaptive TechSoft, one of the leading national providers of technology solutions for both the education and health sectors. The project aims to implement the university management system in all departments and units of the university to complete the academic and administrative procedures and raise the efficiency of performance. Dr. Banaja said that this project is an extension of the country's direction towards the e-government and technology adaptation for the university to adopt modern technologies in information management systems and achieving academic excellence in them, to provide the best services to all employees of the university and developing ways to communicate with the community. For his part, Eng Tareq Al-Qasabi, ATS Chairman of the Board, reaffirmed the company's keenness on providing technical solutions distinguished by national minds and efforts for technology adaptation in the Kingdom, and that the system will enable the university to manage academic and administrative data electronically using the latest technologies in the field of automated solutions, in addition to the university's e-portal, which enables students and faculty members to deal with the university system via the Internet, pointing out that the system will help the university administration to raise performance efficiency and modern technology investment to achieve excellence in providing services for students and university faculty members and all employees of the university, and dispensing the paper work environment thus contributing to control expenses and reduce costs. It should be noted that the university system is an integrated system for data management of universities and colleges in the pubic and private education sector, and is characterized by its high efficiency and support for the Arabic language and comprehensiveness in processing all the procedures in higher education institutions.
