To help the
progress of our success, we are in search of a talented
and experienced J2ee Technical Architect. The successful candidate
will be responsible for participating in the definition and design
of the Enterprise Information Technology architecture for our
products and projects, with a focus on application development
technologies. This includes assisting in the design and development
of the Information Technology roadmap and the recommendation and
approval of IT standards for hardware, software, and network
technologies. The selected individual will be involved in technical
reviews of developed applications based on the defined roadmap. This
individual serves as a liaison between the infrastructure and
development teams.
Responsibilities:
-
4-6 years of experience in Web Development on large scale
multi-tiered enterprise Java/J2EE systems is a must.
-
Able to assess the scope of a project, identify risks, and
develop accurate estimates.
-
Experience with full life-cycle development in a commercial
environment.
-
Experience in all phases of the application software
lifecycle (SDLC) - requirements, design, development and
testing.
-
Excellent object-oriented design & programming skills,
including the use of UML and design patterns.
-
Experience in designing/building web portals.
-
Proven hands on experience in J2EE development. Work should
include Servlets, JSP, JSF, Struts, EJB, JAAS, AJAX, ANT and Web
Services skills.

Strong LDAP, SSO, SSL knowledge.
-
Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) using a production EJB Server
such as Oracle Application Server, and IBM
WebSphere.
-
Hands-on experience with web services and system
integration technologies such as, SOAP, Web Services (axis),
XML/XSD/XSLT.
-
Experience
in Oracle Application Server (both as a user and application
server administrator), as well as other Middlware Application
servers, such as Jboss, ...etc.
-
Experience and knowledge of IBM Websphere is highly
desirable.

Strong Oracle database development/integration - SQL and
PL/SQL.
-
Excellent knowledge of analysis and design
patterns.
-
General understanding of how to architect high-availability
secure environments.
-
Experience developing Enterprise Application Integration
solutions.

Experience with multiple application security
models.
-
Ability
to use structured and disciplined approaches to solve technical problems.
-
Strong Enterprise Content Management Systems experience is
highly desired.
-
Must
be a self-starter, out-of-box-thinker, team player, and possess
good communication skills.
